Sports and Games are found in early human history and appear to be cultural and universal. However each culture has its own definition of sports. Sports participation inevitably contribute to youth development. Sports promote learning and application of life skills. It helps to reduce extreme emotional outbursts.
Football –
Football, commonly known as Soccer. Foot-ball is one of the game which test your mental as well as physical ability as a Football player.
Handball – Handball is also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball. It is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six out court players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team .A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins.
Yoga –
Yoga is the Sanskrit word for Union. Patanjali was a pioneer of Classical Yoga. He defined Yoga as “the cessation of meditation of mind.” (Stopping changing the mind.) Yoga is an old discipline of philosophy from India. It is both spiritual and physical. Yoga uses breathing techniques, exercises and meditation. It helps to improve health and happiness.
Lezim –
Lezim or lazium is a folk dance form, from state of Maharashtra in India. Lezim dancers carry a small musical instrument with jingling cymbals called the Lezim. It is more of a vigorous physical exercise and drill than a dance; the formations can be in two’s fours and even in a circle. Lezim involves many callisthenic moves can be quite strenuous.
Aerobics –
Aerobics is a form of physical exercise that combines rhythmic aerobic exercise with stretching and strength training routines with the goal of improving all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular strength, and cardio-vascular fitness). It is usually performed to music and may be practiced in a group.
Kho-Kho –
Kho-Kho is a traditional Indian sport that dates back to ancient India. It is the second most popular traditional tag game in the Indian subcontinent after kabaddi. In a Kho-Kho team there are 12 players each side, 9 players in the field, 3 extra players. Kho-Kho is played on a rectangular court with a central lane connecting two poles which are at either end of the court.
A skipping rope –
A skipping rope is a tool used in the sport of skipping rope where one or more participants jump over a rope swung so that it passes under their feet and over their heads. There are multiple subsets of skipping rope, including single freestyle, single speed, pairs.
Dumbbells –
The dumbbell, is a type of free weight, is a piece of equipment used in weight training. It can be used individually or in pairs, with one in each hand.
Taekwondo –
Taekwondo is a Korean form of Martial Arts characterized by punching and kicking techniques with emphasis on Head height kicks, spinning Jump, kicks and fast kicking techniques. The training plays a very important role in the maintenance of amenable student-teacher and student-peer relationships. It also improves an appropriate education value among adolescents.
Badminton –
Badminton is the nation’s number one racket sport with over a million people playing. Badminton is a fun and dynamic sport that can be played individually or as part of a team.
Table Tennis – Table tennis, also known as ping-pong and whiff-whaff, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight ball, also known as the ping-pong ball, back and forth across a table using small solid rackets.
