We take pride in introducing to you, Vile Parle Mahila Sangh, a well-known, benevolent institution, leading in Educational and Social fields. Located in the heart of the suburb of Vile Parle, this institution stands tall, towering with pride, shining bright on the children who take shelter in its wings. Mrs. Mangalabai and Mr. Madhavrao Bhagwat embarked on this educational journey with 25 students in 1952, sensing the dearth of comprehensive and mature educational bodies, responsibly fulfilling educational and social obligations towards our children, our future. Their efforts bore fruits and the institution has now culminated into an Institution with magnanimous dimensions, imparting knowledge to over 10000 students and more over the last many decades. Orion School (ICSE)
Aspiring to touch the horizon of perfection in the field of education, Vile Parle Mahila Sangh decided to spread its wings further and begin with ‘ORION SCHOOL’. The school commenced its journey from the month of June in the year 2007. The school is affiliated to Council for The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE)· By far, it has successfully nurtured over lacs of students and it endeavors to do so in the future too. Today, as an educational institution it has a tremendous responsibility of developing a sense of right and wrong in the minds of the future citizens, developing intellectual qualities in the world of globalization, preparing young minds to fit in the changing world, triggering curiosity and taking teaching and learning process beyond the world of books.

Experimentation is one of the vital learning methodologies at Orion. Learning by doing is a kinesthetic learning experience that gives the students an opportunity to interact with their environment to gain better understanding of the scientific concepts. It allows the students to interact with their environment thus sharpening their critical, analytical and research skills. In order to compete with the ever-challenging world outside, we equip our young learners with the essential life skills through platforms such as Student Led Assemblies, various inter house competitions, inter school competitions, various celebrations, Annual Day and Sports Day. At Orion, we strive to accomplish the vision of the school which is “अग्रतः पथि सदैव गम्यताम् (Always be ahead on the path of progress)“. We prepare our learners to be the future world leaders by sensitizing them and instilling a sense of empathy towards certain global issues through our Annual Projects relating to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
At Orion, we believe that a child has many dimensions to his/her personality. As educators, it is our prime responsibility to cater to and fine-tune every aspect of these dimensions. Hence our constant effort is to focus on the holistic development of our young learners and make them into all round personalities.
